Intergenerational Gathering: Sharing Our Legacy

Saturday, October 11, 2003, 12 noon-4 pm.

The Shibata family has graciously offered this beautiful setting once again
to the National Japanese American Historical Society for our annual fall
benefit.

Since its humble beginnings over 20 years ago, Go For Broke veterans
organization went on to transform itself into our present organization,
NJAHS. We have continued to tell their story, and have expanded our purpose
to interpret a wider story of the Nikkei experience throughout the country
to an increasing national and international audience. Hear more about our
recent federally-funded feasibility study of Building 640, birthplace of the
Military Intelligence Service.

Please join our hosts Yoshimi and Grace Shibata and enjoy the serenity of
the garden, sharing stories with friends and family.
