Treasures in the Desert: Preserving America’s Detention Camp

August 25 - September 4, 2004

Exhibition includes: Poston, Heart Mountain, Tule Lake, Topaz, Manzanar, & Minidoka. The exhibit explains the history and the people, and also updates the status on the efforts that are being made to preserve and memorialize the past of Japanese Americans. A one-quarter sized replica of a
barrack built by Toru Saito is also on display.
