MANGA: A Century of Social Commentary by Japanese Artists in America

Manga that spans 10 years and ranges from views on everyday experiences of immigrant life, internment, politics to fantasy. See works of Henry Yoshitaka Kiyama's Four Immigrants, the World War II era cartoons of Jack Matsuoka and Pete Hironakal, to the more recent works of Stan Sakai (Usagi Yojimbo) and Kaiji Kawaguchi (Eagle).
